Image Licensing - Stock Photography
Photos can be provided as digital files for your projects. Photos have been used in numerous magazines, directory covers, product enhancements, information booths, newspaper ads, printing equipment demonstrations, web sites, business cards, fliers, movies, tv commercials, posters, billboards and more.
How Does it work?
Review the price list below for general guidelines about pricing or call / email for prices.
Email or call with specific information about the image's use and to secure an agreement for image use.
Pay with credit card, paypal or have an invoice mailed for later payment.
Photo (.jpg, 300 dpi) and License agreement are emailed to you ASAP.
What are the Prices?
Prices below are general guidelines for illustrative purposes only and are subject to change. Licensing is subject to approval, image availability and mutual agreement. KCPix.com reserves the right to refuse licensing at our discretion. Some images by guest artists are not available or may have different prices.

Can I use the pictures for free if I give you credit?
Arrangement may be made to allow limited photo use for charity in exchange for credit ( I reserve the right to approve or deny such requests ).
Free use may also be allowed for non-commercial, individual use such as personal web sites; but permission is required and special restrictions apply. Users are required to host the file.
The minimum image licensing fee is value priced at $49 to enable small businesses and sole proprietors to use the images to help promote their efforts.
What does semi-Royalty free mean?
Some restrictions apply to photo uses under the semi-royalty free license that may not typically be restrictions under a full royalty free arrangement. The restrictions include:
Unlimited use of images in the collection for a single client. The license is non-transferable.
A separate license for each client is required for design professionals or companies doing work for multiple organizations. The design company could either purchase a semi-royalty free license for each client for whom images are used in their materials or have each client purchase the license.
Images may not be resold or distributed or made available to anyone outside the purchasing company (or those doing work on behalf of the purchasing company).
Images may not be used in products for sale (or freely distributed to the public). For example, images may not be used for postcards, calendars, screensavers, posters, art prints, etc. A separate license agreement would be required for this. ( exceptions to this are possible, please ask - the intent simply being to prevent a purchaser from turning around and competing with me with my images ).
This license is intended for creative professionals at a single company (or doing work for a single company) to use images in their web site, ads & promotional materials.
Limited substitutions (e.g. largely similar images) between collections are permissible upon approval.
What are the terms of the License?
A typical license will grant permission to use the photo (or photos) for the specific uses we agree upon in our conversation or correspondence (except semi-royalty free). Terms of the license are flexible upon mutual agreement. This agreement is typically sent along with the photos.
Image use contingent upon agreement with the following terms. If recipient does not agree with these terms, images may not be used and all copies must be deleted.
The following license grants permission upon receipt of payment ($###.00) to use the attached images of <photo name/subject - photo # > <describe photo use> (e.g. as part of a single brochure up to 20000 copies).
This is a one time, non-exclusive creative use license. Future uses of the image are subject to additional charges.
Use of the image(s) subject to the following additional terms:
Image(s) remain copyright 2002-2005 Kevin Venator. The purchasing organization may use the images in materials specified herein (see above). The purchaser may make basic modifications as necessary to print the images at desired size, ratio, color balance, etc and make other changes as needed to fit their needs.
Any derivative works also remain at least partially copyright K. Venator. Credit is appreciated but not required. Credit, if given, may include my name, web site or both <credit may be required based on agreement>. The image(s) may not resold or distributed (by themselves or as part of a compilation) or represented as work by anyone other than Kevin Venator. The files cannot be made available to anyone who is not part of the purchasing organization or using the images on behalf of the purchasing organization.
This license agreement is nonexclusive and not transferable.
The image may not be used for producing screensavers, postcards, posters, photo prints, calendars or materials for sale (or freely distributed) to the public not expressly permitted herein which are considered a conflict of interest with KCPix.com & AmericasWonderlands.com.
